About me
Colleen Noffsinger has 28 years of experience in Education. She is leader in her building and throughout the school district. Colleen is highly qualified with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from University of Iowa, a Master's Degree in Reading from Dominican University, a Master's Degree in Teaching and Leadership from St. Xavier University, a Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction, as well as an English as a Second Language Endorsement, from University of Illinois at Chicago. She was formerly a part-time Literacy Coach and part-time Reading Specialist at Piper Elementary, but has transitioned into a full-time Reading Interventionist. Colleen previously taught Kindergarten, First and Second Grade throughout her teaching career. She started in the district at Komensky, then moved to Emerson, Irving, and now Piper. Colleen is a dedicated educator who enjoys learning, teaching and sharing ideas with others in the 21st Century through blogging and social media.
