About me
My name is Jorge Mojarro and I am honored to be the Assistant Principal at Heritage Middle School. I feel very grateful for the opportunity to work with a strong dedicated staff, high achieving students, and a supportive school community.I have been in the field of education for more than eighteen years. Prior to becoming an assistant principal here at Heritage Middle School, I worked with students in the primary grades ranging from second grade through eight grade in dual-language schools. I have been part of BHS, MTSS, ILT, Bilingual Committees, SIP, an ELPT, and a Bilingual Coordinator. I have worn many hats and gained a lot of working knowledge over the years and I am more than happy to utilize my skills, experience, and knowledge gained over the years to work with all of you as a partner in education to ensure that all the students are successful.My view in education has been that education is a life-long process and a person is always continuing to learn and grow from our shared knowledge and experiences gained from our students, teachers, parents, and community members. Most importantly, I believe in a student centered approach to our decision making because in the end we all want to achieve the same goal and that is for our students to achieve success. It is the relationships that we build between our families and our community that builds to the success of our students. My door is always open and please reach out to me if ever need any support.
